Jimmy Norman

Jimmy Norman graduated from Heath High School in 1989. Jimmy is the first one-sport athlete to be inducted into the Heath High School Athletic Hall of Fame.

Jimmy excelled on the gridiron as a Bulldog running back where he was a four-time all-Licking County League first team selection. Fans memories of him running past defenders as if they were on a conveyor belt linger to this day.

Jimmy is still the career leader in rushing at Heath, compiling 5,032 yards by the time he finished his career in the 1988 season. He is also the scoring leader amongst non-quarterbacks in school history with 336 career points. Bulldog football has always prided itself on being able to run the ball and Jimmy Norman is the only player in Heath football history to rush for over 1,000 yards in three different seasons.

Jimmy earned all-state honors in both his sophomore and junior seasons. During Jimmy’s junior year he rushed for 1,536 yards and was named Central District Division four back of the year.
At the time of his graduation Jimmy held the Licking County League rushing record of 5,032 yards.

Ladies and gentlemen 2018 Hall of Fame Inductee, Jim Norman.
